According to a Nikkei article, three major Japanese third party developers have shifted their focus onto Nintendo's Wii. If the title didn't already give it away, these companies are Namco Bandai, Sega, and Capcom. The article says that they have shifted from the PS3 to mainly Wii because of the large amount of Wii sales and low sales of the PS3. It also goes on to add that the companies will be leaving the PSP behind to focus on the DS.
I doubt this means that we'll see PS3 games already in development being cancelled or that Capcom will decide to bring Resident Evil 5 to Wii but it does mean that we could see a flood of new games hitting Wii some time in the near future.

YAYAYA! I GUESS COMPANIES ARE STARTING TO SEE THE MAGIC OF THE WII =D
Wow, that's awesome to hear!
Now let's hope they are
good games.

that's it third parties...come to the Wii-side...
Come on to Wii and make great games

This may mean some actually good games ^_^
This is beautiful news. It seems that everyone is seeing that, as Reggie Fils-Aime said, playing is believing.
Just keep 'em coming, baby!
This can only be good news for Nintendo. Hopefully these companies will give us high quality games, and not some "let's play canival games" thing.
not necessarily only good news. if the games suck, people will go for another platform other than Wii, but with these companies, that shouldn't be such an issue. Namco can put out some extremely good titles like the Tales RPG series which did have an installment on the Gamecube that sold quite well. Bandai means there will be a bunch of Japanese cartoon games, Sega will bring about another half dozen Sonic titles that always manage to see despite how crappy they turn out... Capcom will almost certainly make good games. hopefully they'll sell better than the excellent Viewtiful Joe titles and Okami so we'll get more games like them
depending on just how much interest they have in the Wii, this could make the Wii an unbelievable system for gaming and push it far into 1st place on sales
with their track records, at least some will have to be good
*drew crosses fingers
This is what I wana' here!

I'm most impressed by Capcom. I don't care for the other ones.
The positive is, I doubt Capcom will make crappy party games.
Yea, when the last time they made a party game?
Errm, did they ever make one?
That's why I asked because I don't remember any from Capcom. If they did it was probably few.
Haha, I like that pic.
Good for Nintendo!
This means good things will come...
