Well boys and girls, I guess this officially confirms it. No online multiplayer for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. This definitely upsets me, just when I consider how excellent it could have been and what strength it could have given to Wii's online setup.
Wii online games have a tiny blue "Wi-Fi Connection" circle in the top left corner, and a "Game Experience may change during Online Play" under the ESRB logo in the bottom left, which this doesn't have.
Getting back on topic I must say how impressive this particular boxart is. Its an awful lot more detailed and exciting than any of the fan-made efforts and that's saying a lot considering how impressive some of those were. I have noticed that they are reverting back to the old "Metroid" logo, which is similar to the first game in the series.
All in all, I can give this my patented "Thumbs Up", and except for the small but painfully emotional fact that there isn't a Wi-Fi Connection logo to be seen anywhere, I remain happy with the final designs. Kudos to Nintendo and Retro Studios.

you never know. Nintendo could be just omitting the online until they officially announce it at E3. (knows that he's starting to sound really desperate for online play...)
regardless, its an awesome boxart. Once again Nintendo has created a beautiful cover design for what is sure to be one of the most awesome games this year!

all they have to do is stamp on the logo and slightly alter the rating box. if it has online, it'd take less than 3 minutes to change this boxart accordingly

Well Cloud, congratulations for not caring about a game that almost every Wii owner will be buying. Really, kudos.
You are correct about one thing though, no WiFi will not hurt the sales.
People who want Metroid will buy it regardless, only the non-hardcore people will skip it.
I never cared about the games, because I didn't find them interesting/Fun. =\ imo.
