Anyone who isn't a fan of Metroid should try Super Metroid. If that doesn't convert you then there isn't a lot that can be done to save you.

And if you haven't given the original Prime a go, there'll be no better time than now.

I think Super Metroid has a better chance of converting people, but by all means try both.
