guitar hero III- written by "rockcop"
the whole month i did nothing but say "RAY! (my bfs name) WE MUST GET GHIII WHEN IT COMES OUT NO JOKE WE GOTTA HAVE IT FOR THE WII!" i think he heard that a record of 10 times a day or more....it depends on how much sugar or sleep i had to be that hyper in order to say it more than just the 10 lol.
so anyways, i get up yesterday morning at the crack of dawn and instead of waiting for best buy to open their doors at 10, as the same with gamestop, we went to walmart. we were one of the first to get the new shipments from them and walked out happy with bundle in hand.
we went home, riped open the package and immediately started to "jam".
now, neither one of us have ever played this game. we've youtubed a few videos on people doing expert levels (even saw that stupid kid rock out on expert to some song...the kid was like 7 or something) and thought we were ahead of ourselves lol. we manged to go through career mode on easy very nicely. i mean, its self explanitory on how to play, if you need help- use the training mode (i didnt do it, my bf did i just went for it lol).
the game IMO because ive seen people play the PS2 versions on different genres (rock the 80s ect) and they all look the same to me. when i read the reviews on IGN, they used the terms "if it aint broke dont fix it" meaning that the wii didnt need to revamp this classic that they left it alone.
im sure the real gamers who have this for other systems can point out the differences but to someone just viewing from a novice point of view and the naked eye, i saw nothing wrong and thought that this was a great addition to the wii.
there were no dislikes IMO and there were tons of favorites. the songs are great....although wait, one complaint? why is pearl jam under "international rock" when they were from seattle washington???? that didnt make sense to me. maybe that was a mess up and no one caught up on it? sid vicious and eddie vedder dont go hand in hand lol. anyways, like i said, the songs are great and the battle in career mode is friggen crazy! i mean i beat slash!!!! (on easy hush!).
other than that, "rock cop" gives this 2 thumbs way up! i wanna do a youtube video for everyone on here or something but instead just got some lame pictures of my bf playing this game haha.
so to conclude my lovely review- get this game!!! you wont regret it! (and if youre cheap, go to walmart its only 89.90!!! save 9 cents!!! lol)
Jill is one of those cops that accepts bribes, but yet doesn't eat Dunkin' Donuts so doesn't quite fall into the stereotypical category.

I read my name in there at least once^^
I might be getting this around christmas, but I also heard that it kind of changed the amazing formula.
Well, Kwon seemed 'buzzing' with his purchase, it has some awesome songs too.

If you're lucky, then yes they will.
I think they look the same so if the change was cosmetic or not is beyond me, they look so similar.
All I know is that online and boss battles are new.

I haven't gotten GH3 yet but from looking at some vids on youtube from the looks of it, besides the battle and online, It is almost identical with cept a few things like the crowd is more detailed along with the backgrounds.

Nice review, I think we should put this in the other secton though, as it's a music game more then a party game.
Good job though.
