BBC iPlayer Now Wii-Friendly
Posted by: TheCosmicFrog  - 04-09-2008 02:10 PM - Replies (5)
BBC iPlayer is now compatible with Nintendo Wii!

iPlayer is a piece of software that follows the recent trend of providing On-Demand television to web viewers for the price equivalent of the common cold; that's right, free. The current pioneer in the UK On-Demand web TV service is Channel 4 On-Demand, or "4oD" as it is commonly known, which provides access to television shows broadcast on the British network Channel 4. This gives online and digital users complimentary access to hit home-grown shows such as Skins and Shameless.

BBC is, essentially, the "big daddy" of the British airwaves; being the national television station. Shows like Top Gear, EastEnders and Friday Night With Jonathan Ross can now be watched at your leisure, right at home in your living room at whatever time you want.

Missed the latest episode of Top Gear (speaking of which)? Watch it later on iPlayer!
