Anyone who was hoping that the newly announced Wii peripheral, WiiSpeak, would be packed in with Animal Crossing: City Folk should stop now. As we're all aware Nintendo like to make money and this situation is no different. According to a press release, the WiiSpeak microphone will be sold on its own for $29.99. This isn’t too bad considering Microsoft’s MSRP for its official Xbox 360 Wireless Headset is $59.99.
It would have been nice to get this bundled with the latest Animal Crossing game, but beggars can't be choosers. Let's just be grateful Nintendo finally woke up and realised that communication is a big part of the online gaming world. Who thinks the price is too high? Who thinks it's just right?
