If there's been one thing bugging Wii owners of Guitar Hero III aside from the lack of Stereo sound and downloadable content, it's been not being able to purchase an extra standalone guitar to be able to rock out with a friend. Well no more as Activision has now confirmed that extra wireless guitars will be available this coming March for $59.99, $10 less than the 360 and PS3 guitars as the motion sensing is done with the Wii remote. It still makes us feel a bit like we're being ripped off when you consider that the Wii version's guitar is nothing more than a guitar shaped remote shell but I guess there's nothing we can do but suck it up.
