Sorry guys for the absence of the VC releases in recent weeks but things have been stacked against us recently folks, however, do not fret as we hope to get the Wii-kly and VC releases out on a regular basis again starting next week, however, that aside we better get back to the present with this weeks NA releases which you may find a little disappointing...You were promised Mega Man for the NES, Samurai Showdown II and Ys Book I and II were all promised for by their parent publishers however Nintendo have let down a few fans for whatever the reason by releasing...
Sonic The Hedgehog Master System, 500 Wii Points
The port of the classic Genesis (Mega Drive) game to the less powerful console in terms of audio and graphics...the idea sounds horrible however you will be pleasantly surprised to hear that this port includes some variations of the original levels and some completely new ones. The game play tries to stay as close as possible to it's big brother, while not reaching up the standards it is still a brave effort.
Splatter House 2 Mega Drive/Genesis, 800 Wii Points
The sequel to the original Genesis (Mega Drive) exclusive is back in it's bloody glory. The story follows Rick, just months after escaping his first ordeal he finds the mask and has to use it again to rescue his girl, Jennifer. The game has your usual assortment of punching and slashing as well as the inclusion of more weapons like the chainsaw. One thing you should know is that this game is rated an M which gives future hope of Mortal Kombat for the VC!
