A lot of work goes into making a game like the programming, the soundtrack, and the controls. Even with all that work, everybody would instantly assume that the cover art would be looked over carefully due to the fact that it’s the thing that makes the first impression on the buyer. But now that this incident has occurred, it seems that either Capcom has poor editors, or that they like advertising IGN.
This unfortunate event was first reported by NeoGAF user Bob Digi. Right above the permanent "sticker" promoting the game's high score in Play magazine, you will see an IGN watermark which is the result of the background picture being photo shopped in from IGN’s Okami PS2 site. So now every time you look at Okami’s box art, you eyes will always be drawn to the picture of Amaterasu devouring the IGN logo.
