The mysterious new Fallout title has finally had some light shed on it, and it is long overdue as well. For a long time it was unknown what platforms it was even appearing on (however, it was never doubtful that it'd be hitting the same platforms as Fallout 3) but now we have confirmation. Bethesda have announced the title is due out in about Q3 2010 and will release on PC, Playstation 3 and XBox 360.
This installment is not being worked on Bethesda's in-house, and is instead being developed by Obsidian Entertainment. Apparently this development team is made up of a lot of developers who worked on the earlier Fallout titles.
Sadly, the trailer itself doesn't shed too much more light on the game. Featuring a man in armour with a flag of California. We are eagerly awaiting more news on this title. However, it may fall quiet again until E3 pops around again.
