Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is the newest title in the Silent Hill franchise, and although it hasn't been out very long Climax Studios are already willing to commit to another installment. In a recent interview with the Official Nintendo Magazine, Sam Barlow (lead designer of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories), has said they'd love to do another installment if they get a chance.
He goes on to say, "we've always loved working on the series. Since Origins we've spent a lot time with the series. For us, we felt we've put our stomp on the series with Shattered Memories so we'd love the opportunity do another one." He added, "So everyone go and buy it!"
Granted, he can not be held responsible for trying to push people into selling it. But perhaps Silent Hill has done its dash? Since Silent Hill 3 the series has been the victim of a decline, and even though Shattered Memories was a return to form, the games short length was a certain disadvantage.
