The Wii's second best killer app in terms of hype, behind only Smash Bros. Brawl is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. So right after giving us Brawl's release date, Nintendo gave us some Metroid info.
The focal point was the gesture control method the game would use. Visors can be switched by pressing "-" and then performing a certain motion. The lock-on aiming system is still there, however while you're locked onto a certain enemy, you will still be able to aim freely at other points on the screen.
Perhaps the most intriguing new piece of information is the new Hyper Mode. In this mode Samus gains access to great powers but over time will corrupt her. To keep Samus from getting fully corrupted you will need to balance all of the different modes.
