PAL Virtual Console Releases April 11, 2008
Posted by: Wii_Rulez  - 04-10-2008 07:46 PM - Replies (1)
This week's PAL Virtual Console is overflowing with games from newer systems added to the Virtual Console library. The Sega Master is finally making it's PAL debut two weeks after North America received it. Like North America, Wonder Boy is one of PAL's first titles and also releasing is the shooter Fantasy zone. The Commodore 64 games debuting this week are the action packed California Games and Impossible Mission. Impossible Mission will be getting a WiiWare remake set to release later this year.

Wonder Boy (Sega Master System, 500 Wii Points)
Take on the role of Tom-Tom and rescue your girlfriend Tanya from the hands of evil. Make your way quickly through several different worlds defeating enemies before it's too late to save Tanya. As you make your way through levels you can pick up fruit to increase your time; you can also get power-ups, but be careful of bad eggs or poison mushrooms. Magic dolls can be found in every level that take you to hidden areas making you one step closer to saving your true love.

California Games (Commodore 64, 500 Wii Points)
This Commodore 64 game was probably the original extreme game. Take to the beach and enter surfing competitions. Afraid of what's lurking in the water? Skateboarding or roller-skating is the next best thing. Enjoy some Frisbee or perform some BMX stunts in sunny California. California Games has a sport for everyone.

Fantasy Zone (Sega Master System, 500 Wii Points)
This solar system featuring 8 colourful planets is known as the Fantasy Zone. Menons are trying to take over Fantasy zone by introducing their own influences to each planet. Blast as many Menons as possible and collect coins along the way to stop their invasion. Boss battles are fought in each planet and you can collect upgrades and even save the solar system with a friend.

Impossible Mission (Commodore 64, 500 Wii Points)
In Impossible Mission you are a secret agent out to stop the evil Professor Elvin Atombender. The professor is believed to be messing with national security computers. Infiltrate his lab, avoid his deadly inventions and put a stop his hacking.
