This week Europe is getting another big Nintendo title before North America in the form of Wii Fit. Australians can finally get behind the wheel of Mario Kart Wii, while NA still has a week to go. In NA this week, none the new releases compare to what other regions are getting.
North America
This week THQ is pitting 11 bands against each other to duke it out for the grand prize. Battle of the Bands features 30 classic and modern tracks with remixes and single & multiplayer modes. UFO's arcade shooter Heavenly Guardian, will having hunting ghost, goblins, and monsters of all varieties. Keeping tune with the shooter aspect, Target Terror has you taking down terrorists. The Wiimake of Wild Earth: African Safari features a new 3 co-op mode and mini games as you explore the safari.

Nintendo's exercise craze is ready to take Europe by storm. The title takes fitness to the next level with the Wii balance board and 40 unique activities while M&M Kart Racing is finally seeing store shelves after countless (merciful) delays, and if the skiing in Wii Fit isn't enough for you, Kawasaki Jet Ski will fill your need for a rush.

Mario Kart Wii is finally in the hands of Australians, two weeks after Japan and Europe. The game features influences from games such as Super Mario Galaxy, and contains 16 classic and 16 new tracks, and 33 characters. The game's online mode is the best Nintendo has offered so far and those currently with the game claim it is relatively free of lag. Emergency Mayhem is also releasing this week if driving vehicles to help people in need is more your cup of tea compared to steering around shells and bananas.
