Hey hey hey WiiLoadians recently things haven't been as top notch as usual but don't let that get you down; things are going to pick up and we've got some big surprises for you in the next few weeks. I'll give you a clue to one of them, 8 blue pixels. However, lets not dwell on the past; instead lets spend our time looking forward as we've got a big treat for you today as I've managed to get Pixel Ninja to give us a few words on her cosplays, gaming preferences and more! Read on to see the outcome.
Could you tell us a little about yourself so the readers who aren't aware of who you are have an idea?
I’m just a nerd who really loves old school gaming and old TV-shows like Galaxy Express 999, Dragon ball, Sailor moon, He-man and Transformers. I love to play old NES/SNES games like Mega man, Nemo the dream master, Lolo, Super Probotector and so on. And I love being creative so I think it´s my creativeness together with my nerdyness that got me started in cosplaying.
I'm partial to some transformers and Super Probotector myself. How and when did you first get into Cosplaying?
Around 6 years ago when I moved to Stockholm and went to my first Anime convention
I've heard its a nice place but I understand you create your own costumes, how much work goes into making one on those?
A lot, I’m very picky about details and each costume usually takes months to make. I’m also having trouble finding the fabrics or materials I want here In Sweden because it’s very limited and sometimes have to order it from overseas >_<
Ouch, a little unlucky there but which costume is your favourite and why?
It has to be the Samus Aran Varia suit, I had a great day when I wore it at the convention and I was very happy with the end result.
Which Nintendo character would you like to cosplay in the future?
Maybe Zelda or Link
No Star Fox love? I'm aware you're a gamer yourself; you got yourself a Nintendo Wii?
Not yet, I just (finally) bought myself a 360 and after that I think I’m gonna go for a PlayStation 3, I don´t really have much time right now to play games as I used to because of all work
I own a 360 and Wii right now but you can't go wrong with any of them in my view. Are you happy with the new, more casual, direction that Nintendo has taken?

What's your most anticipated Wii game at the moment?
Can’t think of anything just for Wii at the moment, does Mega Man 9 count? It’s for 360 and PS3 as well but I’m really looking forward to playing it. I think it´s great they released a new 8-bit game
I'm loving Mega Man 9 at the moment, I hope you will too! Finally, what would you say to people who are interested in getting into Cosplay but don't know where to start?
If you’re new to sewing, it might be good to start with a simple costume. Buy similar pattern instead of creating your own, and if you are unsure of what materials or fabrics to use for a particular character, look it up on Cosplay.com how others have done it and see what looks good in real life.
