[Wii] The Last Story Revealed as a New RPG from Mistwalker

Recently we posted a story about Nintendo's new release schedule, and in it mentioned a new title called The Last Story. Well, more light has been shed on the mysterious title and unlike previously thought it isn't simply a renamed game.

Last night Nintendo sent out a press release advertising the game's launch site, on the site is a looping music track, logo and the year 2010. We still do not know much about the game but we do know is that it is likely to be a JRPG. For the truly curious, you can check out the website yourself here. And coming from Mistwalker, this could go either way. As you might know Mistwalker is lead by the Final Fantasy creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi, however their XBox 360 products have been mixed so far.

Either way, if there was going to be a JRPG coming to Wii, you would definitely want Mistwalker to be creating it if you couldn't have SquareEnix. Maybe this title will be paraded at E3 2010.
