For those of you planning on trying out the Wii in stores at launch, go to Gamestop.com and locate the store nearest you because it seems that the Wii's demo kiosks will be exclusive to GameStop.
At Gamestop's annual sales conference over 4,000 store managers and employees were told that the Wii's demo kiosks would be exclusive to it's stores at launch. GameStop president, Steve Morgan said, "Getting that controller into someone's hands is very important."
So far, there has been no official announcement regarding GameStop's partners, namely EB Games. Wal-Mart has already voiced it's conerns regarding the Wii's controller and injurying yourself and others. GameStop does not seem to share these concerns.
It is currently unknown as to when other major retailers will recieve their Wii demo kiosks and when GameStop will lose it's exclusivity.
