if you want proof that all his episodes are nothing but flamebait and attention whoring, it's this episode. it's still entertaining to watch... his "reviews" feel like the perspective of a sarcastic non-gamer forced to play these games... or maybe a sarcastic elitist gamer forced to play these games. hmmm.

Haha I find him hilarious. "I think hitler is right!" I don't know about anyone else, but personally I never get bored of watching his videos.

that was pretty entertaining... and that was it. i can not take the review the least bit seriously.

If I was getting paid to write cynical reviews like this you'd better believe I'd do it. Because that's what is happening here. I've been listening to Yahtzee when he occasionally pops in for the Australian Gamer podcast and you see a much more real side of him there. He doesn't like today's gaming industry but then again I don't blame him.

The last few weeks his reviews have been spot on because both Too Human and Spore were steaming piles of turd.

maybe i downloaded the wrong episode (sept. 6th's episode), but he's just as cynical and a whole lot more arrogant than in ZP.

i know he gets paid to be an ass. unfortunately, thats the only side of him that is ever projected. what got to me is that in his recent review, he bashes BCR because you cant jump...worst part is that he says "you cant jump. at least not from the start." it just shows that the dude didnt even play through the game long enough to know that you cant ever jump. he then begins to bash the lives system. saying that starting from the start of a level after losing all your lives is archaic. he completely disregards any sort of game design and just calls it on a more shallow and general view. imagine if the game had no repercussions for dying? he bashed bioshock for being too easy because of the having vita chambers (when you die, you start at the closest vita chamber. kinda like a checkpoint..thus no repercussions). BCR is all about trial and error. thats how all old school games were. if he doesnt like the state of today's gaming industry i cant imagine him not whining about the industry back then.

i dunno. this episode really got to me because it just feels rushed and full of inconsistencies and hypocrisy. i'd really like to see him on a show or interviewed where he's less animated.

He's paid to rant and say bad things about games so don't be surprised if he does

+ he doesn't review, it's not to be taken to heart.

Anyone who takes his videos seriously best look for a new source to determine their purchase.. I'd suggest a Block Buster.
